Well, Blatsby, you are entitled to your opinion. Though your comment reeks of SPAM, I decided to approve your comment minus the link.

In response I will only say that sort of modern-era logic that I am sure you subscribe to does not nor cannot sufficient explain the spiritual. Faith is NOT rational no matter how much apologetics you throw at it. God cannot be contained and cannot be explained by A+B=C.

I am interested in finding a place to paint. Recently I have been flooded with inspiration. Have been in the fine arts most of my life in various ways. I am established enough finanxially to chip-in on studio space. I have a dream that the old vacant textile plant in downtown Pineville would become a spiritual community for artist. Studio space. What do you think? Should I seek out info on the possibility? Ten - eleven years ago my two oldest sons and I drove by, got out of the car, and went inside, looked around for fun! It was huge! There were some men working in there and as fast as I know there are not any plans for it. Very historical for Pineville. At one time it brought a lot of jobs to the town. In fact, most of the little row houses surrounding the plant were used for housing for employees. They mfg. Corduroy in that factory. Now most all corduroy is mad in China. Blessings in Christ, Kim D.

This discussion is a good basis for what I think we need to hear at the Earth Day meeting in Monroe at First Presbyterian. Can you still relate?

It takes some of us well past our fortieth birthday to understand that God is behind every(cloud)thing and that when He blazes in radiance we cannot claim that He has not been there all along. That blindness leads to the grotesque 'sheperding' that we give His planet. For who are we that we destroy the wonders of creation. We must do what we can to enlighten the rest of mankind.

Rich, I'm learning the dread of the empty blog post page as well. But journalling online or off is how I process the journey best I think. Helps me clear my head and heart to move on.

I guess there's a link between those two words: journal and journey.
-shalom!
